Informatics for Phylogenetics, Evolution, and Biodiversity (iEvoBio)

There are 5 kinds of contributed content that iEvoBio will feature: 1) Full talks (15 mins long), 2) Lightning talks (5 mins long), 3) Challenge entries, 4) Software bazaar demonstrations, and 5) Birds-of-a-Feather gatherings.

The Call for Abstracts for Full Talks opened on March 2, 2010, and closed on April 16. The Call for Lightning Talks and for Software Bazaar entries opened on April 26 and May 26, respectively. The Call for Challenge entries opened in February 2010 and remains open. Information on how to contribute to the Birds-of-a-Feather sessions is forthcoming. Please see the Call for Papers section of this site for more details.

All submissions except for the Challenge entries should be in the area of informatics aimed at advancing research in phylogenetics, evolution, and biodiversity, including new tools, cyberinfrastructure development, large-scale data analysis, and visualization. The theme of the Challenge for 2010 is visualization. 

All submissions to iEvoBio that concern a specific software for use by the research community must meet the open-source requirements.

To submit an abstract, you must first create an account. Click 'Account' and be sure to check the box labeled 'Author' near the bottom of the form. Once you have an account, login, click 'User Home', and follow the 'Author' link.
